ABOUT MSM INTERIORS and PEGGY MARCHESE

Margaret Susan Marchese, or Peggy as she is known, first became interested in paint as a little girl. Her mother was very creative and one of the original queens of do-it-yourself. Her father was a master carpenter and boat builder who was also an inspiration to the artist.

Peggy began painting interiors and refinishing furniture in high school, but her passion for decorative painting came after the birth of her first child in 1989. Turning all of her creative energy to family & home, she began teaching herself the art of faux finishing. Her talent was recognized by family and friends and soon she was being commissioned to work.

In July of 2001, MSM Interiors was created and painting became her full time pursuit. Peggy, an essentially self taught artist, has studied with Mirage Studios in Long Island NY and Dundean Studios in Chatham NJ. The artist has attended various other product sponsored workshops. She has been a member of the International Decorative Artists League since 2004 and will be starting a local chapter of the organization in the near future.

MSM Interiors services residential and commercial clientele in the NY, NJ CT, PA areas. We will travel for that very special project. Specializing in Venetian Plaster, Metallic Plaster and Tuscan Plaster, owner~artist Peggy Marchese has a natural eye for color, balance and proportion. Most importantly, her meticulous attention to detail and ability to understand her client’s needs are reflected in the unique and exceptional spaces of beauty that she creates.
